About us

A BTU is a unit of heat.
We treat it like one.

British Thermal Units are how heating and cooling are measured. We took the name because measurement is the whole point: size it right, install it right, and prove it with readings.

Consulting first. Contracting second.

BTU Consulting, Inc. is a heating, cooling, and energy company based in Dunnellon, serving homes and small businesses across Marion and Citrus counties. We started as energy consultants — load calculations, duct testing, and efficiency reviews — and grew into full-service HVAC because clients kept asking us to fix what we found.

That background shapes everything we do. We don't size systems by square footage rules of thumb. We don't recommend replacement unless the readings support it. And every visit ends with a written report of what we measured.

We're a local company with local technicians. When you call, you reach our Dunnellon office — not a call center.

What we stand for

Honest options
